Creating a Quote

A quote is a price estimate you give before doing the work. Creating one works just like an invoice:

1Click New Quote
2Fill it in just like an invoice – client, line items, amounts
3Send it to your client for approval

Client Acceptance

When a client receives a quote, they click the link to view it online. From there they can:

Accept

They type their name as a digital signature

Reject

You are notified so you can follow up

Their IP address and browser details are recorded for audit purposes.

Converting a Quote to an Invoice

Once a quote is accepted, open it and click Convert to Invoice. All line items, client details, and amounts are copied to a new invoice. No need to retype anything.

The quote status changes to Converted.

Purchase Orders

Create purchase orders for suppliers when you need to order materials or services.

1Go to Purchase Orders in the sidebar
2Click New Purchase Order
3Select the supplier, add line items with descriptions and amounts
4Save or send to your supplier

Purchase orders include auto-numbering (PO-001, PO-002), PDF generation, and status tracking (Draft, Sent, Received, Cancelled). Pro plan only.
