How to Invite Your Accountant
Quick-View Link (No Sign-in Needed)
Optional – Quick-View Link
If your accountant just needs a quick read-only look without creating an account, scroll down to the “Quick-View Link” section and click “Generate Link”. Copy the link and send it to them.
This gives view-only access to invoices, expenses, VAT data, journals, and trial balance – plus CSV export. No changes can be made through this link.

What You Can Do
Once connected, you have full access to manage your client’s books:
📝 Work
💳 Money
📊 Tax & Reports
📚 Bookkeeping
Data Export: Download invoices and quotes as PDF. Export data as CSV from any list page.
What You Cannot Do
These are reserved for the business owner:
Switching Between Clients
If you are accountant for multiple Mint Books clients, each invitation creates a separate connection. You will need to sign in under the relevant account for each client. Each invite is linked to the email address it was sent to.
Using the Quick-View Link (Accountants)
Received a link starting with my.mintbooks.app/shared/…?
That is the read-only Quick-View link. No sign-in needed. You can view invoices, expenses, VAT data, journals, and trial balance, and export as CSV. You cannot make any changes through this link.
